The new national standard has new requirements for the safety protection function of the charging pile main control board:
Upgrade of residual current protection
The new national standard requires that AC charging equipment must have at least A-type residual current protection, and on this basis, DC residual current protection of 6mA or above is added. This requirement is called the A+6 scheme.
For DC charging equipment, it is also proposed to equip residual current protectors or protection units with the same functions as AC power supply equipment to improve the safety and reliability of DC piles.
Clear voltage and current parameters
The new national standard specifies the rated voltage and current range of AC and DC charging stations. The rated AC voltage is single-phase 220V and three-phase 380V; the rated AC current includes 8A, 10A, 16A, 32A, 63A, etc. DC rated higher voltages include 500V, 750V, 1000V, and 1250V; The DC working voltage range includes 200V~500V, 200V~750V, 200V~1000V, 500V~1250V, etc.
Charging mode specification
The new national standard has standardized the charging mode, especially mode 2, which requires that in order to ensure the safety of charging in mode 2, the single-phase power supply using the standard plug socket defined in GB/T 2099.1 and GB/T 1002 on the power side should not exceed 8A; when using the standard plug socket defined in GB/T 11918.1 and GB/T 11918.2, the output should not exceed 32A.
Increased testing requirements
The new national standard has added testing items such as contact current, insulation resistance, dielectric strength, and impulse withstand voltage to ensure the electrical safety of charging stations.
Security and protection functions
Must meet A-type+DC 6mA residual current protection (A+6 scheme), capable of detecting pure smooth DC leakage.
Equipped with hardware protection against overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overheating, leakage, lightning protection, relay adhesion, etc., and capable of cutting off output within 1 second.
Insulation resistance ≥ 1000 Ω· V, withstand voltage 2kV/1min, impulse withstand voltage 4kV, contact current ≤ 3.5mA.
environmental adaptability
The new national standard has added tests such as salt spray corrosion, alternating humidity and heat, and photoaging, requiring charging stations to have stronger resistance to environmental interference.
Low temperature performance requirements: Lower the lower temperature limit of outdoor equipment to -25 ℃ to improve low-temperature adaptability.
Electromagnetic Compatibility
The new national standard has added electromagnetic compatibility testing, requiring the reduction of electromagnetic interference.
Electrostatic discharge ± 8kV contact/± 15kV air, RF field radiation immunity 10V/m, surge 2kV/1kV, pulse group 2kV.
Fault response speed
It is mandatory to stop the charging station within 1 second when faults such as CP disconnection/grounding and CC disconnection occur.
Through the above measures, Xincheng Technology has enabled its AC charging station control board to meet the safety protection requirements of the new national standard, ensuring the safety and reliability of the charging process. Welcome to inquire and purchase!
