How to activate the safety protection mechanism of the 7KW AC charging station motherboard?

The 7KW AC charging station motherboard activates the safety protection mechanism through the following methods to ensure the safety of the charging process:

1. Overcurrent protection

When the charging current exceeds the safety threshold (such as 32A), the motherboard can cut off the circuit in a very short time (usually within 100ms) to prevent equipment damage or fire caused by excessive current.

2. Overvoltage protection

Monitor voltage fluctuations in the power grid, and immediately stop charging when the input voltage is too high or too low, ensuring that the voltage output to the vehicle battery is always within a safe range.

3. Leakage protection

Once the leakage current exceeds the safety standard (such as 30mA), the power supply will be immediately cut off to ensure personnel safety.

4. Overheating protection

Real time monitoring of battery temperature, when BMS feedbacks that the battery temperature is too high, quickly adjust charging parameters or pause charging.

5. Short circuit protection

When a short circuit is detected in the charging line, immediately cut off the power supply.

6. Grounding protection

Ensure that the charging station is well grounded to prevent safety issues caused by poor grounding.

7. Full of self stopping

When the battery approaches full charge, the motherboard will automatically stop charging to prevent overcharging.

8. Power off memory and power on recharge

Equipped with power-off memory function, it automatically replenishes after receiving a call, ensuring a complete charging process.

These security protection mechanisms ensure the safety and stability of the charging process through real-time monitoring and rapid response.
